Lianna is an 18 year old singer-songwriter from Seattle, WA. Her highly commanding voice is unique with many layers of dynamics comparable to Mariah Carey, Jazmine Sullivan, Beyoncé, and Alicia Keyes.

She has been singing her whole life, and she is a self taught artist having had no formal vocal training outside of choir classes in school. She has an impressive, ever growing range and utilizes her ability to float between notes often. Lianna is also a rapper and poet, drawing lyrical inspiration from conscious rap artists J. Cole, Kendrick Lamar, Clariyah, and Joyner Lucas. Her flows are varied and unique with empowering underlying messages present in every song.

Lianna has been dancing for over half her life, starting off as a ballet dancer in 3rd and 4th grade before venturing out to hip hop and contemporary dance. She has danced on local teams in Seattle such as Impact, Kutt’N’Up, Renton High School’s Cheer Team and BSU. She’s also worked as an assistant dance instructor for Dance411 Atlanta’s summer dance camp, working with kids aged 5-14 teaching a variety of dance styles every week.

Her signature style of dance present in her choreography includes a combination of hip hop and contemporary moves that blend seamlessly while still managing to contrast noticeably. Currently she is working on a full length album entitled “Spotlight” which, in addition to highlighting her musical versatility, highlights some of society’s most pressing issues including systemic racism, mental health, self love, and more.

Overall a unique multi-talented young mixed girl, Lianna has a very important message of unity, love, and black empowerment in her music, which can be related to and enjoyed by many people of all ages.
