Dre The Party God Comes To OFMG
Known by family and loved ones as De'Andre "DRE" Davis, starting in 2008 as a extatic club promoter at Star Bar Nightclub on 1st & Pioneer in Seattle wa. Along side some of seattle's elite promo teams and entertainment marketing companies in WA at the time; Addictive ent, Seaspot magazine, MaddSkillz ent, kube 93.3 etc...easily made his mark on the Hip-Hop party scene in the greater King/Pierce county area.
When asked in 2012 by Richard Penton, CEO of Sky movement to Host two shows for two major up-coming independent artists, YG 400 & Nipsey Hussle Dre 'THE PARTY-GOD" was born. After working both shows, turned down an offer to tour with artist Tyga on a NW Tour trough Arizona offered by good friend Ethan Jones, Marketing director for Elixer international booking agency. When asked why? He simply said, "I wish i could, but my dad left me at two years old. My sons just turned two yesterday....cant do it."
Working through out WA state hosting birthday parties, brand releases, college events, local concerts & rotating through all of Seattle's Hip Hop venues and clubs.Soon, Calvin Kennon aka "50 cow" a major local, well-traveled Rap artist, asked Dre to come with him on tour with YG400 for the release of the "Just Re'D Up 2 Album/Tour" through the North-west to open each show as his hype man. Agreed, but only to be once again in 2014 called apon by CEO Richard Penton. this time to host seattles #1 Hip Hop radio station kube 93.3's Summer jam 2014 on the Sky Movement stage. Of course, jumping at the oppertunity, Dre agreed. Continuing to also host for YG 400 in Spokane WA at the Knitting factory(2,500+ cap) & the D.A.M.A. Dope Festival with Chris brown, Tyga, School Boy Q , Devin Da Dude, Clemm Rishadd & Will Jordan at the Tacoma Dome (10,000+ cap).
